Training
Child Contact, Residence and Domestic Abuse
This training will provide basic information on facilitating child contact in a domestic abuse situation.
This training is aimed at organisations and agencies who would like to learn about the civil justice process, in particular, what options are available to women survivors of Domestic Abuse who need support around child contact.
While an understanding of Gender-Based violence is ideal, it is not necessary, and you do not need to be working directly with survivors to attend this training.
Please note that the first section of this training, an overview of both the Scottish Women’s Right Centre and Just Right Scotland, and an introduction to the civil legal system are also covered in the ‘Protection Orders and Gender-Based Violence’ training and the ‘Damages, Compensation, and Gender-Based Violence’ training also offered on the Scottish Women’s Right Centre Training Calendar.
This training session will be around an hour and a half. Keep an eye on this page for future dates.
