For organisations and support workers

Badges on lanyards

If you are supporting a survivor with European citizenship or a survivor whose partner has European citizenship, it’s essential that you check whether they applied to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS). The deadline for applications was 30 June 2021.

You might be working with survivors in a variety of situations and this may affect their immigration rights and options. The organisations below can advise you and the survivor regarding late applications and what their rights after the deadline.

Webinar - 'Brexit, the EU Settlement Scheme and women living with abuse'

In May 2021 our Centre organised a webinar for support organisations and agencies in partnership with Citizens Advice Scotland.

The webinar discusses the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) and offers in-depth case studies of women experiencing abuse who are impacted by the post-Brexit immigration rules and what to do if they didn't submit an application before the deadline.

If you would like to access the recording of this webinar, please send us an email to: info@scottishwomensrightscentre.org.uk.
