SWRC Timeline
Tuesday 15th April 2025 marked ten years to the day since the Scottish Women’s Rights Centre was launched.
As part of our celebrations, we commissioned an interactive timeline to commemorate a decade of SWRC history.
Since our launch in 2015, the SWRC has worked tirelessly to improve access to justice for women survivors of gender based violence in Scotland. As we continue our work in the future, the timeline will be updated with other key events and milestones.
Helpline
Festive Closure:
Please note our helpline will be closed from 12.30pm on Monday 15th December for the festive period. The service will reopen on 5th January at the usual scheduled times (see below).
Our daytime helpline is currently available:
- Mondays between 10AM and 12:30PM
- Wednesdays between 10AM and 1PM
Our evening helpline, staffed by pro-bono solicitors who can provide initial advice, is currently available:
- Tuesdays between 6PM and 8PM
